The Three

The Three, like the powerful and ancient dragons they are, don’t like to share power. Not with other dragons. Not with puny mortals. Not even with each other. However, whether they like it or not they tend to acknowledge the benefits of cooperation and they’ve always known that controlling lesser creatures has many uses. Even The Red, nearly-unstoppable engine of destruction as he may be, controls a number of small groups to advance his agenda whenever the mass slaughter of puny creatures isn’t the most effective method of fulfilling his needs (though, as they say, when all you have is a flaming breath weapon capable of melting steel…). The Three do not often share control over their subservient groups, places, or people, though it’s not completely unknown either. Smart groups who don’t want to be snacks when a power struggle emerges try not to get caught between two of The Three.
